Ingredients
- 6 cans crushed Tomatoes
- 3 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 12-15 cloves garlic crushed (in garlic press)
- 15-20 leaves fresh basil

Preparation
Step 1
1. Over medium heat in a large pot, Add olive oil and garlic. Cook, stirring occassionally for 5 minutes or till garlic is soft and fragant
2. Add tomatoes, salt and basil
3. Simmer for 30 minutes before adding meatballs, then simmer till meatballs or done
4. Sauce can be simmer up to 3 hours and made ahead
Note: Sauce and meatballs freeze well
