Ingredients

  • 1 8oz package of spaghetti
  • 1 jar of tomato sauce (I use Prego)
  • 1 lb of ground sausage (italian seasoned)
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1.5 lbs of bacon (2 1 lb pkgs works fine)
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • Muffin tray
  • 2 saucepans/pots
  • frying pan

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1. Begin by chopping the bacon into bits and cooking until crispy.
2. Extract half of the bacon bits for the spaghetti, then add the ground sausage to the saucepan on medium heat.
3. After the sausage-bacon mix is fully cooked, extract the grease. Add the tomato sauce. Let simmer for 10 minutes over low.
4. Boil noodles (al dente)
5. When the noodles are cooked, extract the water and add the melted butter and mix well.
6. In a small bowl, mix the egg and parmesan cheese together.
7. Add the egg mixture and bacon bits to the noodles and mix well. Let it cool.
8. Add noodles to the muffin tray using tongs. Twist them into the muffin tray so they make a nest and press down.
9. Add a spoonful of ricotta cheese to the middle of the noodle nest and press down to spread out. (Use a small cup of water to wet your finger tips in order to spread the cheese evenly).
10. Add a spoonful of meat sauce on top of the ricotta so that it completely covers the cupcake.
11. Add mozzarella cheese.
12. Put the muffin tray in the over at 350 degrees for ~25 minutes
