Ingredients
- Cookie Cake Ingredients:
- 1 ⅔ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup french vanilla instant pudding mix
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp milk
- 1 ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Icing Ingredients:
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- 1 ¼ to 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1-2 tbsp milk
- OPTIONAL candy melts and sprinkles for garnish

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
Spay 9in baking dish with non-stick spray.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and pudding mix.
In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugars until fluffy.
Add in egg and vanilla and beat until well mixed.
Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients and add milk until combined well.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Press cookie dough into baking dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until top is lightly browned.
Cool completely on a wire rack.
In a medium bowl, beat butter until fluffy.
Beat in cocoa.
Beat in ½ cup of powdered sugar at a time and add 1 tbsp milk in between until you reach your desired taste and consistency.
Decorate and serve!
