Ingredients
- Topping:
- 3 large sweet potatoes
- 1 large yam
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/2 c butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 t vanilla
- You can use 3 large yams and 1 large sweet potato.
- 1/3 c butter
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1/2 c flour
- 1 c pecans, chopped

Step 1
Boil potatoes until soft in the center. Cool and peel. Fold using a food processor, mixer or blender with rest of the non-topping ingredients. It should be the consistency of mashed potatoes. Pour into a 9x13 baking dish.
Blend the topping ingredients. It should be crumbly, like topping for Dutch apple pie.
You prepare this ahead of time and either refrigerate or freeze until needed.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
