  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 1 loaf bread
  • water
  • salt and pepper
  • butter

Step 1

Tear bread in fairly small pieces. Saute sausage until no longer pink. Remove any fat. Saute celery and onion in butter until onions are transparent. Mix all ingredients together, adding water as necessary for liquid. Salt and pepper to taste.
NOTES: Use dry bread (Country White is my favorite). Use your hands to mix and squeeze the mixture. You can double, triple, etc., but do not overdo the celery and onions. For a turkey dinner, at least double the recipe.
