Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter at room temperature
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 ounces melted unsweetened chocolate

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In large bowl, cream butter and sugar with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla; beat thoroughly. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Add melted chocolate and beat thoroughly. Pour into prepared pan filling cups about 2/3 full. Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan on rack; remove and cool completely before decorating.
