- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. coconut
- 1 c. pecans, chopped

Cook and stir over medium heat the first five ingredients until thickens, about 12 minutes. Remove. Then add coconut and 1 chopped pecans. Stir and spread over cake
