Rice Krispie Treat Fondue Bites
By srumbel
I really love Rice Krispie Treats, and even though they are simple to make, sometimes you just don’t have the time to whip up a batch. The pre-packaged variety comes in handy for a quick snack or as the base for creating some amazing fast treats! I love dipping Rice Krispie Treats in fondue, and this fondue recipe is just thick enough that you can pre-dip bite-sized servings and decorate them as a fun little dessert – these little bites are perfect to take to a party!

Preparation
Step 1
In a medium saucepan, melt chocolate chips and heavy cream together over medium-low heat. Stir frequently to avoid scorching. Stir until smooth and then add the marshmallows. Keep stirring until completely melted and smooth and then stir in the vanilla. Remove from heat.
Cut each of the Rice Krispie Treats into 6 squares. Place the M&M’s in a sealed plastic bag and crush with a mallet. Place all of the M&M pieces onto a small plate. Dip each Rice Krispie Treat square into the fondue mixture, coating the top half of each square. Dip the chocolate side onto the crushed M&Ms until well coated. Repeat with all remaining Rice Krispie Treats. Yields 48 bites. Enjoy!
