  • 1.5 Sleeves of Saltine Crackers
  • 1 (4oz) stick of butter
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Cup of Chocolate Chips

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.

Arrange crackers in a single layer on sheet so that there are no empty spaces. Crush any remaining crackers into small crumbs and set aside for later.

Place butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan and bring to boil over medium heat. Once boiling pour mixture over crackers on baking sheet. If you miss some spots don't worry as the toffee will spread in oven.

Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Allow to cool for 1 minute.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of hot toffee and allow them to sit for 1 minute to soften and melt. Once softened use spatula to spread evenly. While the chocolate is still sticky sprinkle crushed crackers over top.

Place pan in fridge for 30 minutes to cool. Once cooled break crackers with your hands and store in airtight container.
