  • Four slices thick cut bacon (or 8 slicesthin cut)
  • 1 Onion, sliced in strips
  • 1/2 tsp. Minced garlic
  • 1/4 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 lb Brussel Sprouts

Step 1

Directions:
Peel each leaf of sprout until only a nubbin is left. Slice the remainder.

Cut bacon strips 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide and saute until crispy, adding garlic towards the end.

Add onoin and saute for a few minutes followed by adding brussel sprout leaves over med/low heat.

Add the chilled butter in small patties, stirring from the bottom to coat all of the leaves.

Cover and let cook for about five minutes. Repeat until leaves are still identifiable.
