Tomato Cheese Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 C croutons or stuffing mix
  • 1 large tomato, sliced thin
  • 1 1/2 C shredded swiss cheese
  • 1/4 C diced green pepper
  • 1 egg and 1 egg white
  • 1 C milk
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard

Preparation

Step 1

- Spray 9 inch pie plate
- Arrange croutons on bottom of dish
- Place tomato slices in neat overlapping circles;sprinkle with chopped pepper and swiss cheese
- Combine remaining ingredients and whisk until blended; pour carefully over cheese
- Bake 40 min at 350 or until brown and piuffy
