Ingredients
- 1 quart diced tomatoes
- 2 small cans tomato paste
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1/2 large onion
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 green pepper, diced, optional
- 1/2 bundle fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 pint marinara sauce
- italian seasoning
- 4 bay leaves, whole, a must!
- pinch chili pepper, dried
- salt
- garlic powder
- oregano
- olive oil
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 lb. ground beef

Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot saute onion, garlic, green pepper and fresh parsley in olive oil and wine. Add tomato paste, stir over medium heat for 1 minute.
Add diced tomatoes, mushrooms, marinara sauce and all the spices. Bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for 3 - 4 hours. After the 3rd hour add ground beef and meatballs. Cook for final hour.
