- 1 1/2 c. rice, washed and drained
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can water chestnuts with the liquid
- 1 can mushrooms with the liquid
- 1 can french onion soup

Step 1
Melt butter. Add rice and brown. Add water chestnuts and mushrooms. Cook until rice browns. Add french onion soup and liquid from water chestnuts and mushrooms along with enough water to make 1 cup of liquid. Pour into casserole dish and bake covered for 1 hour a 350 degrees.
