Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tea. baking soda
  • 1 tea. cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 tea. vanilla
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 cups mashed bananas
  • 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple (well drained)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 4 7x3 loaf pans and dust lightly with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tea. cinnamon mixture.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and cinnamon; stir in nuts. Set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients in another mixing bowl; blend well. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just moist. Pour into prepared loaf pans.

Bake approx. 1 hour 30 minutes (check for doneness after one hour for smaller loaf pans).

Cool about 10 minutes before removing from pans.
