Ingredients

  • Cakes:
  • 1/3 c shortening
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 c flour
  • 1/2 c dark cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c milk
  • Filling:
  • 1 c marshmellow
  • 1 c shortening
  • 1 c confectionery sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cakes:
Blend shortening and sugar. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. add alternately, all dry sifted ingredients and milk. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. cook for 7 minutes @ 425°.

Filling:
Blend together all ingredients until snooth. Add few drops of milk to make smooth.

Assemble cakes.
