MAKE AHEAD UNSTUFFED PASTA SHELLS 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 4 cups medium pasta shells, uncooked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar - 640 ml past sauce
  • 3/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1.4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta as per package.

Brown meat in skillet. Stir in pasta sauce and cook for 2 minutes.

Drain pasta. Whisk in cream cheese, milk and parmesan cheese. Add basil.

Spread 1/2 of the meat sauce in a 9" x 13" pan. Add noodles. Cover with remaining meat sauce. Top with cheese. Cover with foil.

Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Uncover after 30 minutes.
