Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 ounces parmesan cheese or pecorino romano, grated
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 5 tablespoons basil or flat leaf parsley, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Adjust oven rack to middle position. preheat oven to 450

Spray rimmed baking sheet with vegetable spray or line with parchement paper

Mix all ingredients in bowl

Roll golf ball sized meatballs and place on baking sheet

Bake until cooked through about 10 to 13 minutes

Transfer to paper towels to cool. Can be frozen or used in sauce.
