  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 4 ounces butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 each eggs
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 16 ounces confectioner's sugar
  • 2 each eggs

Preparation

Step 1

1. Prepare the crust with cake mix, butter, and 2 eggs. Grease a 9x13 glass baking dish. Mix on medium until crust starts to pull away from sides of bowl. With a plastic spatula, spread crust mixture evenly over bottom of pan.

2. Preheat oven to 350.

3. Prepare the gooey batter. Beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy, scraping the sides often. Should look like icing.

4. Add eggs one at a time, scraping the bowl after each egg. Should be smooth and lump free.

5. Pour the batter over the crust which is NOT baked yet and bake the cake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and there should be the slightest jiggle in the center.

6. Cool to room temperature and serve.
