Ingredients

    c a. p. flour

  • 1 1/3

    c sugar

  • 1/2

    tsp. salt

  • 1/2

    c shortening

  • 1

    c low fat milk

  • 1

    tsp. vanilla

  • 2

    eggs

Directions

. Sift together the dry ingredients except the sugar . Cream the shortening and add the sugar continue creaming for 2 minutes . Add in the eggs one at a time and the vanilla . Add in the dry ingredients one cup at a time, mix thoroughly . Divide the batter evenly between 2 8" greased round cake pans, and bake at 350 degrees
