Ingredients
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 pkg yeast
- pinch sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 2 1/2-3 cups flour

Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in water. Add the pinch of sugar. Set aside to bubble for 10 min.
Meanwhile, heat the milk and butter until warmed.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the salt, wheat germ, and flour. Make a wel and add the milk and butter mix, and egg.
Stir into a soft ball, adding only as much of the remaining flour as needed. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Let rise, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours or until doubled. Punch down and shape into 16 round buns.
Place on a greased baking sheet. Dust with unbleached flour. Cover. Let rise about 1/2 hour or until almost doubled.
Bake at 375 for 15 min or until golden brown.
