Ingredients
- Peach Sauce:
- 5 nice sized fresh peaches
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 tabl. honey
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 1/2 cups water
- Chinese Cookies:
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 cup crisco
- 1 cup sugar
- Yokes of 2 eggs
- pinch of salt
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tabl. almond extract

Preparation
Step 1
Peach Sauce:
Cut the peaches in to 1/4's, place them face down in a shallow baking pan.Add water. Slice butter thinly and place all around the peaches ( you can leave out the butter if you want to). Drizzle honey all over the peaches. Sprinkle sugar all over the peaches. Place in 350 degree oven and bake for at least 25 minutes or until peaches are soft.
Chinese Cookies:
Cream butter, crisco and sugar together. Add all the other ingredients, mix well until dough can be kneaded. Take pieces and make small balls. Stick your pinky finger in center and fill with jelly, nuts or chocolate chips. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
