Ingredients
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 T. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. skim milk
- 1 1/2 T. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 T. unsweetened cocoa
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 4 1/2 c. vanilla ice milk

Step 1
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl; stir well. Combine skim milk, oil and vanilla; add to dry ingredients, stir well. Spoon into 9-inch square baking pan. Combine 1/3 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa and 1/8 teaspoon salt; sprinkle over batter. Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over batter. Do not stir! Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cake top springs back when touched in center. Best served warm with a scoop of ice milk.
