Cheese Cake

Ingredients

• 1 package yellow cake mix
• 2 tablespoons oil
• 2 packages of 8 oz. cream cheese
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 1/2 cups milk
• 3 tablespoons lemon juice
• 3 teaspoons vanlla
• 1 can of cherry pie filling

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Reserve one cup of dry cake mix.

In large bowl, combine cake mix, one egg and oil. Press mixture into 9x13x2 baking pan and bring up the sides to form a crust.

In same bowl, blend cream cheese and sugar. Add 3 eggs and reserve cake mix, beat one minute. Add milk slowly along with lemon juice and vanilla. Mix until smooth.

Pour mixture into crust and bake 45-55 minutes until center is firm. Cool, then put cherry filling on top and store in refrigerator.

Freezes well without cherries.
