Sour Cream Cookie
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening or butter
- 1 c. sour cream
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Enough flour to make a soft dough. I ended up using 6 cups of flour.
Mix sugar, shortening and then add vanilla, sour cream and eggs. once all mixed in add remaining ingredients.
Roll out and bake at 375 degrees until done on greased cookie sheet or on parchment paper. The tops of the cookies will look like they are starting to crack. An option is to put flour on hands and roll into balls and press down before baking.
I bake these cookies about 11-12 minutes.
