Tony's Stuffed Peppers

A very basic italian stuffed pepper recipe that my brother-in-law makes.

Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- worcestershire sauce, dash
- 3-4 large bell peppers, cut in half vertically
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 large onion, finely chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
Saute onion and garlic until soft. Add ground beef and brown. Stir in rice, worcestershire sauce, and a couple of tablespoons of the crushed tomatoes. Pour the remaining tomatoes on the bottom of a baking dish. Fill peppers with beef mixture and lay in sauce. Bake for 30 minutes and baste with sauce. Bake for an additional 30 minutes or until peppers are tender.
