This recipe for divinity uses a base of marshmallow creme, which makes it super easy - no beating egg whites until they are stiff.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1 jar marshmallow creme

Preparation

Step 1

Boil water, sugar and a pinch of salt to hard ball stage, 248-250°F

Place marshmallow creme in a large metal pan, pour hot syrup into it stirring constantly. Continue stirring until slightly stiff. Pour in vanilla then fold in nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper.
