- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 red medium onion, diced small
- 1 cup crumbled feta
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Large rolls such as Ciabatta or baguette
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Tzatziki Sauce

DIRECTIONS:
Combine beef, pork, onion, feta, mint, oregano, cumin, salt and pepper (get your hands in there- it’s the best way!). Divide the meat into 8 sections, then form into oval shaped patties. Place the patties on a cookie sheet and refrigerate for 2-4 hours. The patties can also be prepared a day in advance and refrigerated.
Grill over high heat until browned on both sides and cooked through to desired temperature. Remove from grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
