Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon light soy sauce
- dash white pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon chinese cooking wine
- 1 1/2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 egg
- BATTER
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- dash salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 teaspoon oil
- SWEET & SOUR SAUCE
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon HP sauce
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1 green pepper, cut into 1" cubes
- 1 red pepper, cut into 1" cubes
- 2 green onions, cut into 1" pieces
- 2 pineapple rings, cut in 1/2" pieces
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water

Preparation
Step 1
Add seasoning to chicken and let stand 5 minutes.
Dip meat in batter and deep fry. Meat is cooked when it floats. Drain.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in wok, add vegetables and saute. Add sweet and sour sauce ingredients, stir and bring to a boil. Add cornstarch and water and bring to a boil again to thicken.
Pour sweet & sour sauce over chicken balls and serve.
