Ingredients
- 1 lb dry Great Northern Beans
- 1/2 lb cooked Ham, diced
- 1 small Onion, diced
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp Caynne Pepper
- 1 tbsp dried Parsley

Preparation
Step 1
Rinse beans in a large pot; discard shriveled beans and any small stones. Boil in 8 cups of water for 1 hour. Let stand overnight. Pour beans into crockpot; add ham, onion, brown sugar, salt, pepper, cayenne, parsley and water to cover. Set crockpot to low for 8 hours or high for 5 hours or until beans are tender. Add water to crockpot as needed.
