Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups jasmine rice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin seed
  • 4 teaspoons yellow mustard seed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 1/4 cups water
  • 3 scallions, sliced

Step 1

1. Rinse rice in sieve until water runs clear.

2. Cook cumin and mustard in oil until popping. Add garlic and rice. Cook 1 min. Add water. Boil. Cover and cook 20 mins. Take off heat, let stand 5 mins. Add scallion, s&p.
