  • 1 bag Spring Salad Mix 1 bag Romaine 1 3 ounce bag Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits 1⁄2 cup Dries Cherries Or Cranberries 1 large Granny Smith Apple, Chopped 1⁄2 cup Toasted Pecans Or Almonds 5 ounces Gorgonzola Or Blue Cheese Crumbled
  • 1 ⁄2 cup Vegetable Oil Or Canola 1⁄3 cup Sugar 3 Tbsp Good Balsamic Vinegar 1⁄8 tsp Dry Mustard Or A Little Squeeze Of Yellow 1⁄8 tsp Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Clean lettuce - place in bowl and toss.
Add bacon bits, cranberries, apple, pecans and cheese.
Mix oil, sugar, balsamic vinegar, mustard and pepper together. Whisk until sugar and oil are blended. It takes a few minutes but they will blend.
Add a little dressing at a time until you reach desired amount.
To toast almonds or pecans - place in skillet on medium high heat stirred until they are toasted.
