Ingredients
- 2 ( 15 oz ) cans chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy ( whipping ) cream
- 1 ( 15 oz ) can pumpkin
- 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- shredded cheddar cheese
- and chopped cilantro for garnish,
- if desired

Step 1
Bring the broth and cream to a boil in a heavy pot over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium and whisk in the pumpkin. Add the brown sugar and spices. Turn heat to low and simmer until slightly thick, about 15 minutes. Garnish with cheese and cilantro.
