Ingredients
- 1 (6 1/2 ounce) can crab meat
- 2 (3-ounce) packages cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp minced onion
- 1/2 tsp minced chives
- 1/2 clove garlic, crushed
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 drops hot pepper sauce
- salted crackers or toast (can use english muffins)

Preparation
Step 1
Whip cream and cheese together until smooth. Beat in mayonnaise. Add the onion, chives, garlic and salt. Blend well. Pick over the crab meat for bones and marinate in the lemon juice for an hour. Drain. Fold into sauce. Add Worcestershire and hot pepper sauce. Spread on crackers, toast or english muffins (quartered). Broil until brown and bubbly. This mixture may also be served cold as a dip.
