Hamburgers with Onion Gravy

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
• 2 tsp Worcestershire
• 3 Tbs flour
• 1/2 package onion soup mix

Preparation

Step 1

Make four patties from beef with a deep imprint in the top of each,made with a spoon. Sprinkle skillet with thin layer of salt and heat. cook patties print side up until browned. Remove to broiler and fill prints with 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire each. Place under broiler until done. Add flour and 1/4 cup water to skillet and stir to make a smooth paste. Add soup mix and remaining water. Cook and stir to make a smooth, and thickened gravy. Serve hamburgers on platter with gravy poured over them.
