Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 c. crushed saltines (80 crackers)
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 12 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 lbs. bonelss skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2" strips
  • oil.

Preparation

Step 1

In a shallow bowl, combine the first five ingredients. In another shallow bowl, beat egg and milk. Dip chicken into egg mixture, then cracker mixture.

In an electric skillet heat some oil to 375 F. Fry chicken, a few strips at a time, for 2 - 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
