Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 (5-oz.) boneless beef sirloin steaks, trimmed
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven broiler. In a small bowl, combine first 6 ingredients (lime juice through thyme); rub mixture over both sides of steaks. Broil steaks 4 inches from heat source for 7 minutes; turn and top with mushrooms. Broil for 7 to 8 minutes longer or until meat reaches desired level of doneness and mushrooms are tender.
LC SERVING SUGGESTION: Faux-Tay-Toes (steam cauliflower till tender; drain; mash with butter, cream cheese and salt and pepper to taste till you get a mashed potatoes texture). Add steamed broccoli.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve mashed russet potatoes instead of Faux-Tay-Toes.
