Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 stick margarine, softened
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 8 oz. pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • Pepper, to taste (opt.)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients, pour into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
NOTE: Chopped onio and/or bacon bits or real bacon (crumbled) are great in this casserole.
