Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 ounces large scallops
- 1-2 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup Gruyere cheese (or other mild cheese), grated
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
Add garlic, onions, parsley, salt and pepper. Sauté for 4 minutes. Add breadcrumbs and mix to blend. Set aside.
Place scallops in a buttered baking dish. Pour the heavy cream and white wine on the scallops. Sprinkle with the breadcrumbs mixture. Top with the Parmesan and Gruyere cheeses.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned.
