Charlotte's Coffee Cake

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup melted butter ( 1 stick)
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs beaten1 cup sour cream or vanilla yogurt
• 1 teas. vanilla
• 2 cups flour
• 1 teas. baking powder
• 1 teas. baking soda
• 1 teas. salt
• 1 chopped fine apple
• walnuts
• 1 tabl. cinnamon
• 1/3 cup sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together, 1 stick of butter, 1 cup sugar, then add eggs, sour cream and vanilla, mix well. Add flour, baking powder, soda, salt and mix well. Fold in chopped apple. Pour in greased pan.

Topping:
1/2 bag walnuts chooped, cinnamon, 1/3 cup sugar, mix and run through cake. Bake 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

You can add to batter: Blueberrys, raspberries, coconut etc.
