Ingredients
- 2 sticks of butter softened
- 1 C light brown sugar
- 1 C granulated sugar
- 2 t vanilla
- 2 lge eggs beaten
- 2 1/4 C all purp flour
- 1/2 C unsweetened cocoa, such as hersheys
- 1 t baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1 C semi sweet choc chips
- 1 C shredded sweetened coconut
- 1 C Chopped pecans

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 deg line baking sheets with parchment
in a stand mixer or using a large bowl blend butter, both sugars, vanilla, and eggs. in a med bowl stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add flour mixure to the butter mixture and blend until combined. stir in choc chips, coconut, and pecans. drop onto cookie sheet, then bake 8-10 mins
optional to bake as bars by pressing dough into 8 X 8 baking pan and baking 20-25 mins. but into squares when cooled.
