Ingredients
- 3 C. all purpose flour
- 1 C. chopped pecans
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 C. butter
- 1/2 C. maple syrup
- 1/2 C. milk
- Maple syrup

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, pecans, baking powder and salt. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles cornmeal.
3. Combine the 1/2 C. syrup and milk. Add to dry ingredients and stir till just combined.
4. Turn out on a floured surface and roll to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with a 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet or parchment paper. Brus the tops of scones with additional maple syrup.
4. Bake the scones for 15 minutes or till golden brown.
