Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 c. raw Spanish peanuts
  • 1/2 tsp. butter
  • 1/8 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix water, syrup and sugar in electric skillet lined with foil. Cook at 375 degrees until it turns light golden. Stir often and add peanuts and salt. Cook until light brown. Stir in butter and soda. Remove from heat, lift foil and brittle out of skillet and let cool.
