Grandma Newkirk's Pancakes

This makes a big batch. You can keep in the refrigerator for several days. This is the recipe great grandma Newkirk made at the coffee shop downtown when she worked there many years ago. Grandma Winnie passed it down to me.

Ingredients

• 3 eggs, beaten
• 3 1/2 cup milk
• 4 cups flour
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup baking powder
• 1 T salt
