  • 1 1/3 c. sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 egg, beaten

Step 1

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Blend milk and egg; gradually add to dry ingredients. Stir in diced bananas or diced apples. Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot fat (375 degrees) and fry 2 to 5 minutes. Drain.
NOTE: May want to reduce flour to 1 cup and mil to 1/2 cup.
