Ingredients

  • 1 " Sliced ginger
  • 1/4 cup Lapsang souchong or green tea leaves
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 cups organic vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon mixed peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce

Preparation

Step 1

1. Drop sliced ginger and peppercorns into broth and water, bring to a boil, then turn off the heat.

2. Let rest for a few minutes, then stir in tea leaves.

3. Steep for 10 minutes, stir in soy sauce then strain, first through double layer of paper towels then through a coffee filter.
