Hong Kong Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- hot oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- salt
- 1 sliced onion
- 1/2 green pepper
- 2 TBLS lemon juice
- 1 4oz jar mushrooms
- 1 lemon sliced

Preparation
Step 1
Season chops well with salt; brown in hot oil on both sides. Drain on paper towels. Cover chops with onion slices. Combine soy sauce, orange juice, lemon juice, mushrooms, ginger and garlic powder. Pour over chops and bake covered at 350 for 40 minutes. Uncover and add sliced green pepper, water chestnuts and lemon slices. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes, or until green pepper is done.
Serve over rice.
