Freezer Almond Butter Cups 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 4 T Almond Butter I love to use a crunchy, raw one (watch out for any w/added sugars or oils though)
  • 3 T Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
  • 1 T Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (the dark one tastes best)
  • Optional - 5 drops liquid vanilla stevia (I've been finding that I don't need any sweetener)

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl or cup mix the seed butter with a T of coconut oil. Pour or spoon mixture equally into 4 silicone cupcake baking cups, then place them into the freezer for about 30 mins.

Next, mix the cocoa & coconut oil together in another small dish or cup. Mix well. Add in a few drops of stevia (if desired) to sweeten.

Remove almond butter cups from the freezer & drizzle or spoon chocolate evenly onto the top of each cup to cover the surface with chocolate.

Place the almond butter cups back into the freezer to harden, about another 15-30 minutes.

Remove from the freezer, pop out of the molds. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for a slightly soft, creamy & decadent treat! Enjoy!
