Ingredients

  • 1 lb. whole wheat rotini
  • 1 jar of basil and garlic pasta sauce
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 8 oz package of cream cheese
  • 1 8 oz. carton ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 c. heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • shredded Italian cheese blend

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the rotini according to package directions. Brown the ground beef
and mix with the red sauce. Mix the cream cheese, heavy whipping cream,
and butter in a saucepan. Layer the noodles, red sauce, white sauce,
then ricotta, and repeat in a casserole dish. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 min. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top and bake an additional 5
min.
