  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 sticks butter, room temp
  • 1 1/2 cups plus 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. In a mixer, beat butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, mix well. Add flour mixture, blending until combined.
Stir together cinnamon and 2 tbsp sugar. Shape dough into medium sized balls, roll in cinnamon sugar. Set on parchment lined baking sheets.
Cake 12-15 minutes. Let cool on wire racks.
