TOMATO AND GARLIC STEAMED MUSSELS 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 900 g fresh mussels
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 sliced shallot
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 3/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh tarragon

Preparation

Step 1

Scrub mussels and remove and beards.

In dutch oven heat oil over medium heat and cook shallot and garlic - about 5 minutes.

Stir in wine and tomato sauce. Bring to simmer. Add mussels and cook with lid on tight for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add parsley and tarragon.

Serve.
